You Want Me to Touch What?!

Touch My Katamari is the newest Katamari Damacy game and it is being released specifically for the new Playstation Vita. The video below has a billiards pro demonstrate the concept  and changes to the new game.

As you can see you can stretch the Katamari in different shapes that (I'm guessing) allow the Prince into new areas and larger sized items. All Katamari games are pretty repetitive but also quite fun, so this could be a blast. Anyway, enjoy the video, the King of All Cosmos commands it! (And also the Kings cows too, apparently. Moo!)

Ni No Kuni - Playing a Miyazaki Movie

Well, it appears as though the videogame Ni No Kuni (literally Second Country but also referred to as The Another Country) is coming to the United States in 2012.  Hopefully the world won't end before we get a chance to play this game.

I mean seriously it looks like playing a Miyazaki film.  The game, which was developed by Studio Ghibli, follows the character Oliver through adventures in an alternate reality to potentially revive his recently deceased mother.  In this alternate reality he will have to interact with alternate versions of people he already knows.

Miyazaki Attack!

Greetings all! Sorry for being away for so long! I had a crazy amount of visitors and moving to do lately and I just couldn't scrounge up enough time to write a new post. Alas, that is no excuse.

So, here is a fantastic bust of the guy that always puts my sweetie to sleep! One of the foremost Japanese animators to make the leap to American film, Hayao Miyazaki is an incredible artist. His movies such as Castle in the Sky and Oscar-winning Spirited Away are truly spectacular art pieces. The LEGO sculptor who put this bust together isn't too bad either. Supercoolest Lego Japanese Bento-Box Thing

This totally blows my mind! I have no idea how this works and am slightly sad that nothing I ever build out of Lego will ever be this cool. Oh Lego how amazing are you!
